Erik’s story

Growing up in rural North Idaho, Erik was deeply connected to the natural environment. His early passion for sketching plants and animals sparked a lifelong love for fine-line pen work and attention to detail. After moving to Spokane, Erik continued to refine his artistic skills, eventually translating his detailed drawings from paper to skin.

Erik began his tattoo journey with stick-and-poke techniques in his early 20s, which laid the foundation for his transition into professional tattooing. After visiting The Missing Piece and meeting with Zack through an artist friend, Erik knew it was the perfect fit and officially joined the team in October 2023.

Specializing in fine-line and black-work tattoos with a touch of realism, Erik is eager to explore dot-work and micro-tattooing. With a college background in botany, he thrives on nature-based and botanical themes. When he's not tattooing, you might find him at the Spokane Print and Publishing Center, carving block prints or screen printing new designs.
