Angela’s story

Born and raised in the cultural melting pot of Hilo on the Big Island of Hawaii, Angela Krahner spent her first 20 years immersed in diverse influences. In 2016, she and her family moved to Spokane, where her love for drawing remained a constant creative outlet.

Angela initially pursued a career in animation, where she developed a deep love for illustration, design, and the art of storytelling. Currently, she is honing these skills at Spokane Falls Community College while completing her associate degree in Fine Arts.

In August 2023, Angela began her tattooing apprenticeship under the mentorship of Zack Woods and Kas Taylor at The Missing Piece Studio. She specializes in Chibi, Anime, Cartoon and Pop Culture, and is eager to explore innovative techniques that blend different styles and colors in non-traditional ways.
